Most commonly our customers like to order marine rope sheet diameters from 6 to 12 mm diameter (thickness). Therefore please indicate your selected rope diameter during the order process.

Dog Leads

Agility Lead Type High-Line mm in blue, 12 mm

The following rope diameters (thickness) are most commonly used:

10 - 12 mm (shoulder height @ around 40 cm and higher)
This is the most popular size of braid lead, for stronger and larger dogs.
The 12 mm sheet is very chunky and also kind to your hands (in case your dog is pulling a lot)

Regular Leash (10 mm, sheet type High-Line, red-petrol color)

8 - 10 mm for mid size dogs (shoulder height up to 50 cm)
The working load of sheet diameters from 8 - 10 is high enough to secure your 4-legged friend. Especially the 8 mm size is easy to handle, e.g. it is the perfect pocket size lead.

6 - 8 mm ideal size for miniature pups or e.g. tracking leads

Dog Collars

Freestyle Collar, Model Classic-Line, 10 mm; rope ends are spliced/knotted

To follow the idea of also making unique dog collars, our dog collars are adjustable to your pups neck. We can do this by attaching an adjustable keeper to our Freestyle-Model, what makes the size adjustable to a certain degree.

Standard Collar, Model Top-Line, 10 mm; rope ends are spliced/knotted

Also our Classic-Model is a little flexible, when it needs to be adjusted to your pups neck when a sailors knot is attached upon your request at the open end.

'Freestyle' dog collar, Classic-Line sheet quality (12 mm diameter)

To ensure, that your pups collar fits comfortably, we recommend to order rope sheet diameters of 9 to 12 mm for the making of your dogs individual collar. However, the rope sheet thickness recommended, certainly depends upony our pups size, meaning 9 mm diameters should be o.K. for smaller pups, 10 to 12 mm should be chosen for mid size or larger dogs.

Generally said, der festmacher collars are worn a little mor laxly around your pooches neck, which is in contrast to conventional dog collars. Therfore our collars don't restrain but they reflect the sporty character of our products.

Your dog's collar should allow at least two fingers to snugly fit between the collar and your pups neck, to be properly sized.

In any case please let us know, what the total length of your pups nautical dog collar should be. However, alternatively you may check on the size of a collar already worn by your furry friend.
